Founder

Founded in 1987 by Dr. Jerry Purcell, Ph.D, Momentum Data Systems has expanded from a software and consulting-based company into one offering a full range of DSP and hardware solutions. Momentum Data Systems unites a highly talented team of engineers and technical sales staff with specialist expertise in digital and analog systems design, DSP and software development.

Effective October 2023, Momentum Data Systems is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Amplifier Technologies, Inc., legacy manufacturer of home theater and professional cinema audio products.

Momentum’s products are sold worldwide through a network of technical representatives and can now be found within innumerable electronic products in defense, medical, scientific, surveillance and both pro and consumer A/V devices.
